ESTATE MANAGEMENT CONTROL SYSTEM

To illustrate the operation of the Dial Tech system a demonstration theme has been created based on Rivendell, the home of the Elves in the Lord of the Rings. The images below show the resident (or elf) interaction with the system.

A resident of Rivendell accesses their profile over the Internet or Intranet using a web browser. (The format or ‘look-and-feel’ of the page will be different from that shown and is customized according to the estate.) The resident selects one of their phone numbers to identify themselves to the system. This number is known as the ‘home’ phone number.

The suggested system for the effective and efficient control of the following peoples to the Security Estate. These rules can be changed at any time and is by no means fixed in any way. Any suggestions are welcome and appreciated.

Residents

Cell Phone/ Finger Print

• The residents relevant details and finger prints are captured on the Dial Tech system after phoning the utility verification number, a digital photo of the resident must be added as a measure of security.

Visitors

• The resident will have the option of defining his regular visitors on the system.

• This can be done in a two ways. The resident can log in on the DialTech server through the web and add the visitors. The Resident can send a standard SMS to the system with the visitors details. Contractors, Workers and Domestics

• Their relevant details and finger prints are captured on the Dial Tech system after giving positive Identification. A digital photo must be added as a measure of security.

CLIENT REGISTRATION PROGRAM

The program is configured for operation in a specific environment according to the rules laid down by the body corporate or other managing entity. This configuration includes:

• Requirement for authorization of a session by a designated person.
• Rules for information required from the registering subject (name, address, ID, etc.).
• Standard (but different) access rules for residents and visitors.
• Requirement to take photograph of subject.
• Requirement to take fingerprint(s) of subject.
• Option for remote control access.
• Option for keypad code.
• Option for site specific (custom) code.

Registration begins at the “Log In” page. To progress beyond this point requires the session to be authorized and for the registering subject to have validated the cell phone number with the system. In the case of a visitor, the resident must also authorize the session.
